Nordica Returns by Variegata Nordica · Updated 1 November 2026
Who we are
Nordica Returns is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé). It gives a store a return page, handles return requests and exchanges, and provides the EU withdrawal button. Questions about this policy or your data: hello@nordica-apps.com.
What the app stores
- Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin.
- Your return settings (window, choices, address, instructions).
- Return requests: order number, the items and quantities, reasons and notes the customer typed, what they asked for, the customer’s first name and email (to send them updates), and what happened to the request.
- Withdrawals: the name, order number, email, items and message the customer typed, with the date and time, as proof of the withdrawal.
- Return labels you attach (PDF), for 90 days.
- Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and technical error reports.
Orders are read from Shopify when needed and not copied. No addresses, phone numbers, browsing data or payment details are stored.
Who processes the data
Cloudflare hosts the app and its database, stores labels and sends the emails (Cloudflare Email Service), under Cloudflare’s data processing terms. Shopify provides the store data, does the refunds and handles billing. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
How long it is kept
A customer’s name, email and notes on a return are deleted 90 days after the return is finished. Withdrawals keep them 3 years, as proof that the customer withdrew. Labels go after 90 days. When a customer asks to be erased, their name, email and notes are deleted at once. When you uninstall, your sign-in data is deleted at once; 48 hours later everything is deleted.
Your rights
Email hello@nordica-apps.com to see, correct or delete the data held about your store. Customers of a store should contact that store first.
The app is a tool, not legal advice. Each store decides its own return rules.
